The Chalet

The chalet is 400m from the nearest lifts and 800m from the village. We are on the route for the free Navette buses, and there is a bus stop just 50m away. The chalet is ski-out and ski-in (though not suitable for beginners), and during the Winter you will be driven to and from the slopes at the start and end of the days skiing.

In the Summer, several great hiking and biking trails run close to the chalet, so you can start you days excursion from the front door.

There is a secure garage on the ground floor for all bikes and ski equipment, and plenty of outdoor space for working on your bikes in the summer. The outside parking area is also fitted with hose reels. There is a bar-b-que for your use.

There is a large balcony off the sitting room/dining room, which faces south and has a great view of Mont Chery and the village below. There are patio tables and chairs, so you can dine al-fresco if you like.

The kitchen is well equipped with fridge/freezer, dish-washer, gas hob, electric cooker and microwave. All pots, pans, delph and cutlery are supplied for self-catering guests.

The main living space is open plan with a large dining table and chairs, 2 large sofas, open fireplace, TV and DVD player and many DVD's, books and games for your amusement. There also is an honesty bar, with reasonably priced chocs, minerals, beer and wine.

Bedrooms – All bedrooms are well fitted out with plenty of storage space and comfortable beds and good quality bedding.

Bedroom 1 is on the first floor, with its own shower room and toilet. This room is fitted with two sets of adult sized bunk beds, so it sleeps 4 guests.

Bedroom 2 is a triple en-suite with its own bath. There is a double and a single bed in this room.

Bedrooms 3 & 4 are identical twin rooms which share their own shower room with toilet. Each has access to the upstairs sunny balcony

How to get to Chalet Celine

On leaving Geneva Ariport, head for the A40 towards Chamonix / Mont Blanc.

Take exit 18 off the motorway and follow the signs for Les Gets.

You will pass through Chatillon and Taninges.

On entering the village take the signs for the Centre Station and keep going straight.

Just at La Poste there is a turn right for Route des Chavannes.

Head up the hill and continue climbing.

Pass a small chalet called Bambi on the left and then pass the municipal bins on the right.

The next right turn is the one for the chalet, and there is a sign with the chalet name on it.

NOTE ; The turn is very sharp and most vehicles will not make it. We recommend you

continue on up the hill, find a safe place to turn and approach the entrance coming downhill.
